The problem with P5’s dungeons lies in Atlus’ tendency to handhold in Persona. Will that affect my enjoyment a lot, since I know it's a murder mystery and all. Oh, and also, I've been heavily spoiled about the identity of the main antagonist. So, do you think I should buy it on PC? Or maybe Persona 3 if that's better? Thanks. ![]() On the other hand, I'm not sure if I'm ready for such a massive time investment, and if it'll be hard to go back to the slightly older gameplay. I've heard that Persona 4 has a shorter playtime and better characters, which makes me intrigued. And the whole high school romancing sim wasn't my cup of tea. I also found the writing to be a bit too "anime" for my liking. It took me 9 months to beat the game, and I was really burned out towards the end. I did, however, have a few issues with it, namely how it was way, way too long and needlessly padded for someone like me who doesn't have that much time to play games. I also just loved the general atmosphere of the game - wandering around in Tokyo was really nice. The first palace was amazing, I loved the music, the combat was fun, and I liked many of the characters.
